Repartee® for Windows® 2000 Key Benefits Following is a description of the primary features and benefits of the Active Voice Repartee Windows 2000 System: 1. Speech Access to Mailbox - By speaking simple commands into any telephone, you can navigate your voice mailbox and change personal options with Repartee® UC’s powerful speech recognition technology. Instead of struggling for the DTMF buttons on your mobile phone or memorizing a set of codes to play or forward a message, users can use simple and intuitive speech commands to interact with the Repartee UC 2. Text-to-Speech Reading of E-mails - With Repartee UC’s E-mail Integration package, you can have 24-hour, two-way access to your Microsoft® Exchange®, Lotus® Notes® or Novell® GroupWise® e-mail messages without a laptop or modem connection. You can handle e-mail over the telephone just like voice mail. You can listen to any e-mail message using text-to-speech conversion, and then record a reply, which is sent either as a voice mail message or an e-mail with a WAV file attachment. You can reply, redirect, save, and delete e-mails simply by using your touch-tone keypad on the telephone or through voice commands, making you more efficient and accessible when away from the office. 3. ViewMail®, ViewMail for Microsoft Messaging, ViewMail for Lotus Notes, and ViewMail for GroupWise - Optional ViewMail, ViewMail for Microsoft Messaging, ViewMail for Lotus Notes, and ViewMail for GroupWise unified messaging applications allow you to visually manage your messages from your desktop PC. Organize and sort messages on the desktop screen in any order and see details about them at a glance. 4. ViewCall® Plus Call Control - Optional ViewCall Plus call control application gives you total control over your incoming and outgoing telephone traffic by managing calls on a PC via a Windows® graphical user interface. Dial, answer, transfer, hold, screen, and even conference calls with the click of a mouse. 5. Mailbox Manager - New graphical user interface gives you the ability to configure and control personal mailbox settings via the desktop PC, in addition to the telephone user interface. With this new tool, you can modify greetings, security codes, notification, groups, conversation preferences, and much more. 6. ActiveFax® - Optional ActiveFax feature package offers voice processing and facsimile capabilities in one easy-to-use system, giving you a powerful combination of voice mail, automated attendant, and audiotext coupled with complete facsimile functions. ActiveFax provides simple, direct facsimile transmission from outside callers to your fax mailbox. Using fax-store-and forward capabilities, incoming faxes are sent directly to a your personal fax mailbox until you retrieve them. Using the telephone user interface, you can quickly and easily deliver the fax to any fax machine or save it for future transmission. 7. ViewFax® - Optional ViewFax feature package eliminates fax gridlock and streamlines the faxing process by allowing you to send and receive faxes from your desktop computer using ViewMail or ViewMail for Microsoft Messaging. By sending faxes directly to a desktop instead of a fax machine, ViewFax gives you complete control over all documents, ensuring that security and privacy are preserved. With ViewFax’s Print-to-Fax capabilities, you can send faxes anywhere without leaving your desk. You simply load the Print-to-Fax driver on your desktop. To fax a document, you then select the Print command from the application you’re working in and choose the Print-to-Fax driver. 8. Windows 2000 Server Operating System – The Repartee for Windows 2000 products leverage the power, reliability, and scalability of the Windows 2000 Server operating system. Windows 2000 Server provides many of the disk maintenance utilities you are already familiar with, eliminating the need to learn new software interfaces. 9.
