Glen Patterson President 
| Glen Patterson is the Founder and President of Verge Network Solutions, Inc., and has been in the telecommunications industry since graduating from Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City in 1972. Patterson attended the University of Central Oklahoma, while working as a technician for Southwest Utilities, Inc. in Oklahoma City, graduating from UCO with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1978. From 1972 through 1988 Patterson served in virtually every capacity at Southwest Utilities, moving into sales, sales management, and eventually corporate management as Executive Vice President. Southwest Utilities designed, sold, and installed and maintained business phone systems manufactured by NEC. In 1988 Patterson left to form his own company, ISC Telecom, Inc. where as President he built a successful telecommunications business with offices in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Denver, Colorado, growing to approximately $10 million in sales revenue with about (65) people. ISC’s products included Mitel and NEC, and the company built and maintained its own long distance switching network selling long distance services to its customers. ISC was known for, and built its reputation with its commitment to customer service excellence, a passion of Patterson’s. In November of 1998 Patterson sold the company to Expanets, formerly a nationwide telecommunications provider and a wholly owned subsidiary of Northwestern Corporation, and became employed by Expanets as the VP/GM managing (250) people in (10) offices throughout all of Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, and Texas, and served in this capacity through March of 2002, at which time Patterson left and started Verge Network Solutions, Inc. where he serves today as its leader. Patterson has attended numerous professional training programs throughout his career, including sales, technical, and management. Patterson is considered as an expert by his peers and has served as an expert witness, consultant, and business mentor and leader. He lives in Oklahoma City with his wife of almost (26) years, Lea Ann, and daughter Samantha, who attends Heritage Hall High School, and has a son attending the University of Oklahoma studying for a Business Degree. The Pattersons love to travel and Glen is a Commercial Pilot who loves to fly his Cessna 421 aircraft, and play golf. Glen turned fifty in October of 2004. |
