Mitel 5224 IP Phone

The Mitel 5224 IP Phone is a full-feature, dual port, dual mode telephone that provides voice communication over an IP network. It features a 40-character, white backlit LCD display screen for display-assisted access to features, on-hook dialing and off-hook voice announce with handsfree answerback, and a large ringing and message indicator. It also offers 24 programmable personal keys for speed calling or one-touch feature access to a variety of other features. It is a full duplex handsfree speaker phone with context-sensitive softkeys providing users fast and easy access to the full features/functionality of the Mitel 3300 ICP and Mitel SX-200 ICP. Ten fixed feature keys provide convenient access to features such as Conferencing, Redial, and many customizable user settings.  The 5224 IP Phone supports Mitel Call Control (MiNET) and SIP protocols. The 5224 IP Phone also supports modules such as the Mitel Line Interface Module, Mitel 5310 IP Conference Unit, and the MItel IP Programmable Key MOdules 12 and 48 Button. It will support the WLAN Stand and Gigabit Ethernet Stand as well.

 The 5224 IP Phone is designed for any user within the enterprise that requires information about calls they handle combined with user-programmable access to advanced telephone system features. It is also Ideal for users who must change their telephone feature set to match their changing needs, especially managers and professionals who may travel frequently, are often away from their desk and frequently participate in conference calls. The 5224 IP Phone is ideal for contact center/help desk agents or for use as a Teleworker phone.

 Enhancements to the 5224 IP Phone include:

Optional Peripherals Support:

Mitel 5310 IP Conference Units plug into the headset jack for instant superior quality voice conferencing in offices and meeting rooms.

Integrates with Mitel IP PKM12 and IP PKM48 for easy addition of quick access function keys. Two 48-button PKMs can be supported on the 5224 IP Phone on both the 3300 ICP and SX-200 ICP.

Mitel Line Interface Module (LIM) plugs into the back of the 5224 IP Phone, Dual Mode to allow analog Line connectivity, in order to make & receive calls, failover support, and Emergency dialing.
